Vice-Chair Paul Gagnon
Commissioner Position 1

Chairman Paul Gagnon has served Lake Stevens Fire since December 10, 2013.

“The goal of Lake Stevens Fire is to minimize the loss of life and property as a result of fire, medical emergencies, and disaster situations in our community. We accomplish this goal through a proactive approach to fire protection and emergency medical services, on-going training and community education programs, obtaining quality equipment and a dedicated professional staff.

My goal as Fire Commissioner is to build upon the successes achieved in recent years, and to seek ways to make our fire department even stronger. My top priority is and will continue to be the safety of the public and the safety of our personnel. As Lake Stevens Fire prepares for the challenges of the future, I will continually seek ways to evaluate how we provide our services in an effort to be most efficient, adaptable, and responsive to the public safety needs of our residents and the visitors to the community we serve.”

Chairman Jim Steinruck
Commissioner Position 2

Jim Steinruck has been appointed Commissioner for Lake Stevens Fire and he took his Oath of Office at a regular Commissioner Meeting on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. This appointment will remain in effect until the November 5, 2015 General Election certification. Welcome Aboard!

Whether it is fire suppression, medical assistance, or community outreach and education we stand ready to serve. We recruit the best possible professionals into Lake Stevens Fire that we can, and keep them highly trained and ready to assist. We pride ourselves on excellent customer/community service in all we do. I invite you, our public, to contact us at any time with any comments, concerns, and, yes, compliments! Our Commissioner meetings are open to the public and we welcome your attendance and input at any time.”

Commissioner Troy Elmore
Commissioner Position 3

Commissioner Troy Elmore has served Lake Stevens Fire since January 1, 2000.

“I envision Lake Stevens Fire continuing to provide progressive regional leadership in regards to fire suppression, emergency medical care, and fire prevention/public education.  Through innovation and efficiency our team will continue to seek out better ways to provide service and meet the challenges of our rapidly growing community.  Ensuring that we have an adequate number of well-trained firefighters and paramedics for emergency response will continue to be our top priority."
